Getting To Know My City

Entry No. 65

Such a beautiful and unusually shaped building.   For Math Monday, my son, a friend, and I took to downtown on foot in search of cornerstones with Roman numerals on them,-- no luck but we did spot the clock on the Lionel J. Wilson Building.

Serendipity

Entry No. 52

I put off going to the grocery store all afternoon, but when I finally went I ran in to my friend Chun Mui.  She spotted the kale in my basket and gave me a a cool trick to make it tender without cooking by massaging it. Thanks girl, our salad was awesome tonight!
