Same Time Next Year

Entry No. 353

This is my friend Miss L. She and I have met to share a meal and to celebrate our birthdays every year for the last 10 years. Mine is the 30th and hers is the 1st. It began as a way to help her heal after the loss of her husband, now it is a guarantee that we will see eachother at least once during the year.

Looks Like All Is Well

Entry No. 302

About a month ago I was worried that something had happened to the lady that lives here, because she decorates for every holiday, but at Halloween the house was decorated solely with pink ribbons.and there was an oxygen tank outside... Tonight her yard was all lit up in a way it hasn't been for quite a few holidays. I hope it's a good sign.

A Different Kind of Exercise

Entry No. 301

Today I discovered that  Relic Tree Fitness, where I take exercise classes, is housed in a building that used to be the Glenview Library.  That explains why the place we now use to stash our personal items during class always seemed like it would be a  perfect  fit for books.
